Air limbah industri pakan ternak banyak mengandung bahan-bahan organik yang ditandai dengan besarnya nilai COD dari limbah tersebut.</em><em> Berdasarkan hasil analisa diketahui limbah cair industri pakan ternak mengandung kadar COD sebesar 1035,97 mg/l dan pH sebesar 7,8. Kinetika kimia digunakan dalam penelitian di industri dan perancangan alat industri. Tujuan utama kinetika kimia ialah menjelaskan bagaimana laju bergantung pada konsentrasi reaktan. Limbah cair pakan ternak yang sudah dianalisa kadar COD awal, kemudian diencerkan dengan aquadest sampai konsentrasi yang telah ditentukan yaitu 1000 mg/l, 800 mg/l, 600 mg/l, 400 mg/l, dan 200 mg/l. Lalu diozonasi selama waktu yang telah ditentukan dengan variasi waktu 100 menit, 120 menit, 140 menit, 160 menit, dan 180 menit. Kemudian dianalisa penurunan kadar COD. </em><em>Hasil penyisihan kadar COD mencapai 99% terjadi pada konsentrasi COD awal 200 mg/l. Waktu ozonasi yang terbaik yakni pada waktu 100 menit dengan kadar COD 38,05 mg/l. Reaksi ozonasi limbah cair industri pakan ternak mengikuti reaksi orde 2. Considering the danger posed by heavy metal copper, efforts were made to reduce the level of copper waste in the waters with several methods considered efficient to overcome the excess of Cu metal, including the adsorption process. In the adsorption process industry is more often used because it has many advantages, including in the procurement of media more economical and does not cause toxic side effects. The carbon content of water hyacinth is quite high, so the water hyacinth is a suitable material as activated carbon. The initial treatment of water hyacinth by cooking with a solution of NaOH to increase the amount of cellulose as the main ingredient of activated carbon production. Heavy metal Cu in CuSO4 solution can be reduced by contacting activated carbon with variations in concentrations of 2 M, 2.4 M, 2.8 M, 3.2 M, 3.6 M and the contact time is 25, 35, 50, 65, 80 minutes. The purpose of this study was to reduce levels of heavy metal Cu with water hyacinth plants. Carbonation is one of the most widely used processes for making PCC. This study aims to determine the characterization of PCC which can be applied into biomaterials from small crab shells based on the type of crystal produced. The main raw material used for crab shells is taken from the Island of Madura, the content of calcium carbonate in the shell can become PCC in the presence of chemical reactions. The crab shell that has been mashed and sieved 100 mesh size is burned in the furnace at 900˚C for 1 hour, then it is dissolved in HCL 2N with the contact temperature according to the variable. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of bittern addition and the effect of time on the quality of Magnesium Silicate. From the XRF analysis, it was found that MgSiO3 product had 16% MgO content and 59.1% SiO2, pH 9. The production of magnesium silicate can be made by several methods such as extraction and precipitation methods. Formation of sodium silicate (Na2SiO3) was obtained from the process of extracting geothermal sludge containing (SiO2) of 100 grams with 1N NaOH solution at 100 ºC for 90 minutes. Formation of magnesium silicate (MgSiO3) is processed by adding bittern containing magnesium (Mg) to sodium silicate solution (Na2SiO3). MgSiO3 product with the best precipitation time at 90 minutes with a ratio of Na2SiO3: bittern 1: 1½. Magnesium hidroksid banyak diaplikasikan secara komersial sebagai pengisi tahan api dalam polimer dan bahan anorganik, penetral asam di bidang perlindungan lingkungan, dan salah satu bahan baku untuk produksi magnesium oksida. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan kecepatan reaksi dan orde reaksi dari proses pembuatan magnesium hidroksid dari bittern dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh waktu dan suhu dalam proses pembuatan magnesium hidroksid. Reaksi dilakukan dengan kecepatan pengadukan 250 rpm dengan variasi waktu reaksi selama 10, 20, 30, 40, dan 50 menit dan suhu reaksi yang digunakan adalah 40, 50, 60, 70, dan 80 <sup>o</sup>C. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa orde reaksi&nbsp; pembuatan magnesium hidroksid merupakan reaksi orde satu. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of filter size and the comparison of the composition of the red mussel shell with PVC against the physical and mechanical properties of the composite board. The making of this composite board is done by mixing the eggshell powder with PVC then the treatment is given by varying the size of the eggshell 20, 30,40,50, and 60 mesh and the ratio of composition between PVC and eggshell is 30%: 70%, 40% : 60%, 50%: 50%, 60%: 40%, 70%: 30% then printed and compressed with a temperature of 120oC using hot press for 60 minutes. The purpose of this study is to obtain a composite with the right ratio of bentonite and TiO<sub>2</sub> to increase the adsorption power, so as to reduce the COD and BOD content of slaughter chicken slaughtering. and TiO2 then stirred at 1500 rpm. Then the treatment given is the ratio of the mass of bentonite and TiO<sub>2</sub> with variations of 1: 1, 2: 1 3: 1, 4: 1, 5: 1 and stirring time of 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 minutes. Then the composite that has been made will be used for adsorption of COD and BOD of chicken waste liquid waste. So that the results obtained from the best composite results on variations of bentonite and TiO2 2: 1 and stirring for 30 minutes, with a decrease in COD of 47.87% and a decrease in BOD of 55.81%. An inhibitor &nbsp;is an additive that is added &nbsp;to the environment so that it can reduce &nbsp;metal damage by controlling the rate of corrosion. Control the corrosion&nbsp; rate with inhibitors selected&nbsp; natural ingredients that are environmentally friendly. This research was carried out using SS 304 alloy metal in a 3.5% NaCl environment, variations of inhibitors of papaya leaf &nbsp;extract and &nbsp;leek extract each &nbsp;in the range of 100 ppm &nbsp;to 500 ppm. The purpose of this study is to obtain a C/N ratio in liquid &nbsp;fertilizer and to know the fermentation time and the number of additional MOL starters needed to obtain the best C/N ratio. This research was conducted by making a starter in the form of local microorganisms that are used as bioactivators. Then the manufacture of liquid fertilizer by the fermentation process. This process is carried out with variations in time 1,2,3,4 and 5 weeks. And the addition of MOL solution with variations of 0%,2%,4%,6% and 8%. One of the biggest sources of tannin is the skin of maja fruit which is about 20%. Tanin has great potential as a bio-coagulant. Taking tannin from the skin Maja fruit is carried out by maceration extraction with the help of sonication method with a sonicator, glass bottle, 3 neck flasks, rotary evaporator, glass funnel, filter paper, stirred tank and blender. The solution is 30 gram maja peel skin and 150 ml of ethanol (96%) in sonication for 30 minutes then maceration for 2 days then evaporation. Dengan banyaknya industri rumput laut yang tumbuh di Indonesia, tentu saja menimbulkan berbagai macam permasalahan. Salah satu masalah yang dihadapi dalam industri rumput laut adalah terkait dengan permsalahan limbah. Dimana limbah cair industri rumput laut ini memiliki kandungan BOD awal 4813,53 mg/liter dan COD sebesar 9023,26 mg/L. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menurunkan kadar BOD dan COD dari&nbsp; limbah cair industri rumput laut&nbsp; dengan mengunakan salah satu proses pengolahan limbah secara kimia yaitu ion exchange dalam reactor fixed bed. Variabel&nbsp; yang kami gunakan adalah tinggi unggun yaitu&nbsp; 10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm, 30 cm dan laju alir sebesar 1ml/s, 2ml/s, 3ml/s, 4ml/s, 5ml/s.
